All DEWALT taping knives have a thicker, wider, and stronger blade back compared to other brands. The custom comfort grip has a reinforced core for added strength and soft smooth rubber that is easy to clean. The handle is riveted to the blade back and then over-molded to insure an easy to clean structure. The hard-coat black anodized blade back and plated alloy hammer end help reduce corrosion and clean up time. The high quality stainless steel blade is precision stamped with smooth edges and the perfect flex for finishing.
