The AG 500-A22 has a brushless motor for 3-times longer lifetime (no commutator to damage and no carbon brushes to change). Our engineers have improved the electronics and gearing of the tool which leads to more efficiency and power during grinding applications. The AG 500-A22 has the performance to tackle applications traditionally only accomplished with corded grinders and provides added operator protection and safety with the electronic brake stop. This cordless angle grinder is primarily used for cutting or grinding strut, cast iron pipe, steel, stainless steel, steel angle iron, flat steel, I-beam, conduit, rebar, threaded rod, decking, grading and checker plate.
