The Vertical Lifeline Assembly is a full kit built to the strongest conventional (VLA) standards available today. It is resistant to rot and mildew and unaffected by alkalis and most solvents. The Polyester Rope Vertical Lifeline Assembly offers protection against abrasion and is heat resistant. It has a melting point of over 3000 F. Vertical Lifelines may be used for either fall arrest or for restraint applications. Restraint systems prevent workers from reaching the leading edge of a fall hazard. This kit includes an integral shock absorbing device, a positioning device, and an 18 In extension lanyard.
