Designed for optimal cooling in rooms with 13 ft. ceilings, the Hunter 48 in. new bronze downrod allows for an 8 to 9 ft. distance between the ceiling fan's blades and the floor. This downrod works with Hunter and most other ceiling fans that require a 3/4 in. diameter, and its finish is precisely matched to Hunter fan finishes. Its 3/4 in. pipe diameter ensures stability, and it comes with pre-drilled holes for proper electrical grounding. Recommended for use in 13 ft. ceilings.
