Pennington Fast Acting Lime Plus AST goes to work right away to raise your soil pH. Low pH can cause moss and bare spots in your lawn and can encourage weeds to grow. Limestone helps balance soil pH to create a better soil environment for your lawn, which significantly reduces these problems. Pennington 30 lb. Fast Acting Lime Plus AST is more concentrated than regular dolomitic limestone, so you have to use only 30 lbs. to cover 5000 sq. ft. This unique formula combines Advanced Soil Technology (AST) with high-quality lime to maximize the benefit to the soil.
- Raises soil pH levels to thwart weeds, moss and bare spots in your yard
- Apply with any fertilizer/lawn spreader
- Can be applied in the spring, summer, and fall
- Covers 5000 sq. ft., the equivalent of 5 bags of regular pelletized lime
- Helps grass achieve a greener appearance
